Junior Data Analyst
UtiliSave is seeking qualified candidates for Junior Data Analyst position. This is a business critical hands-on role and the ideal candidate will have a record of success in a role focused on gathering data, cost analysis, analyzing complicated laws and regulations, and identifying cases, opportunities and solutions. This position interfaces directly with customers, so strong communication, presentation and client management skills are also essential. Previous familiarity with utility regulations, rates and billing is a must.

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote, US only

Salary: $40,000 – $45,000

Responsibilities

  • Apply your analytical skills and general business knowledge to identify cost savings opportunities for clients.
  • Use UtiliSave’s proprietary software applications, conduct financial, utility and business analysis of clients’ operations, and initiate action to obtain cost savings for clients.
  • Interface with clients, utility companies, tax authorities, regulatory authorities and government agencies to obtain appropriate information to successfully implement savings opportunities.
  • Match details in complex utility tariff codes against our clients’ usage and practices to identify new savings.
  • Collaborate with our IT group in implementing tools to improve our clients’ accounts review process.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of one or more programming skills: R, Python, SQL.
  • The ability to grasp and explain technical and legal concepts and business issues.
  • Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in a relevant auditing or analyst role.
  • Preferred: previous experience working with or for a regulated public utility, especially dealing with rate billing analysis and customer interaction.
  • Preferred: college degree in business, finance, mathematics, or other related field.

C# Programmer
UtiliSave seeks a self-motivated C# programmer to assist in the development, expansion, and maintenance of our in-house software. Our clients are large organizations with significant energy and utility usage, such as hospitals, nursing homes, commercial and residential buildings, universities, hotels, and government facilities. We identify unique savings opportunities using our unmatched knowledge of utility tariff structures and our powerful proprietary IT system. Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote, US only

Salary: $60,000 – $100,000

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, and support new and existing in-house developed applications to support the company’s expanded products and services.
  • Participate in meetings with company users to ascertain business needs and develop IT solutions to satisfy those requirements.
  • Play an active role in the review and analysis of business requirements and technical design specifications.
  • Assist in training users in the use of newly developed or modified software.

Requirements

  • At least 2-4 yrs work vb.net, C# experience as a programmer/software developer in a professional business environment.
  • Experience with front-end development, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and responsive front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation).
  • Working knowledge of Git, JIRA, and Agile.
  • Familiar with both XML and JSON and using them to transfer data between entities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • UI/UX design experience is a big plus.

UtiliSave is seeking qualified candidates for a Marketing Representative position. The Marketing Representative will lead our branding and communication strategies and take on other marketing initiatives.

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time

Location: Remote, US only

Salary: $15 – $18 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Support all UtiliSave marketing initiatives including, but not limited to email campaigns, social media, SEO, and blogs.
  • Build marketing lists, and participate in inside sales process.
  • Develop new marketing campaigns from the ground up, considering our clients’ needs and their specific industries.
  • Perform research into our clients’ industries and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding their reach.
  • Perform Account Based Marketing – research specific targeted prospects and work with Sales on communication and touches.
  • Write copy for advertisements, case studies, infographics, email campaigns, website content, and other promotional material.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Pitch and sell UtiliSave services to high-level executives based on a contingency fee arrangement.
  • Handle a protracted sales cycle of 1-6 months, and build tools and processes to shorten the sales cycle.
  • Act as a UtiliSave representative to potential clients and other stakeholders.
  • Build sales databases.
  • Communicate with prospects via phone and email.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications, Business, or other related field.
  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience.
  • Proven history of producing tangible results.
  • Skilled in developing long terms sales relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence decision makers.
