Position: Manager, Talent Acquisition and Development

In this highly charged role that reports directly to the President and CEO, you will have an exciting opportunity to be a principal player in creating and implementing our ongoing company-wide staffing plan to support the company's aggressive company growth. In addition, the successful candidate will act as the principal implementer of all aspects of sales force deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage a broad network of sourcing opportunities to vet and develop a pipeline of potential staff candidates, independent contractors and strategic partners.

  • Play a key role in the creation and monitoring of employee development processes and tools with a particular focus on sales.

Position: Director of Engineering Services

UtiliSave has served the NY metro real estate industry for over 20 years, providing extremely effective utility bill auditing services. During this period it has saved its clients over $150 million. Essentially, UtiliSave is an expert in the tariffs, taxes, rules, and regulations that govern utility billing. This work is described by the company as the soft side of utility services.

Senior Management at UtiliSave now wants to leverage its existing broad-based client platform, over 20 years of utility auditing experience, and its technical and human capital infrastructure to extend it services to the "hard side" of the utility management business. Namely, it seeks to provide goods and services that impact the physical plant of a property with the intent to reduce utility consumption and/or the related unit cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish engineering protocol and processes for all services and products provided by UtiliSave.
  • Design all informational forms and related processes pertaining to building characteristics and data, and coordinate the collection, dissemination and application of all data with UtiliSave's IT team, and then integrate company-wide.
  • Put in place all process related to "Measurement and Verification" aspects of the energy efficiency business, as well as development of new tools and products in this area of company focus.
  • Seek out third party service providers to outsource work where applicable, practical and efficient relating to UtiliSave products and services. Manage such relationships and coordinate deliverables.
  • Manage all work pertaining to these services that remains in-house.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree at bachelor's level. Master's degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years comparable practical electrical design experience that includes energy efficiency and building retrofits to reduce utility costs.
  • Any knowledge of "Measurement and Verification" as it relates to energy efficiency products and projects.
  • Project management experience that includes coordinating work of outside vendors.
  • Prior interface experience with existing engineering service providers with potential to use as UtiliSave service providers and partners.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing in these areas.
  • Any of the following certifications is a plus: Existing Building Commissioning Professional (AEE), Certified Energy Manager (AEE), Multifamily Building Analyst (BPI), and LEED AP O&M.

Position: Jr Financial Analyst / Energy Auditor

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, results oriented Jr. Financial Analyst / Energy Auditor eager to join our growing team. This position provides for ample growth opportunity and an excellent training platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Using UtiliSave's proprietary software applications, conduct financial and business analysis of clients operations and initiate action to obtain cost savings for clients.
  • Conduct site inspections of client properties, read meters and gather property and utility related information.

  • Collaborate with our MIS group in implementing tools to improve our client account review process.

Requirements:

  • We are looking for candidates with at least 2-5 years of general business experience.

Position: Junior/Intermediate Programmer

UtiliSave currently seeks a self-motivated Junior/Intermediate Programmer/Analyst to assist in the development, expansion, and maintenance of its in-house software.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, test, and support new and existing in-house developed applications to support the company's expanded products and services.
  • Participate in meetings with company users to ascertain business needs and develop IT solutions to satisfy those requirements.
  • Play an active role in the review and analysis of business requirements and technical design specifications.
  • Assist in training users in the use of newly developed or modified software.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years work experience as a programmer in a professional business environment.
  • Minimum 1 year experience developing Windows and Web applications on any version of the .NET platform (ASP.NET, WinForms) using VB.NET.
  • Skilled in T-SQL and familiar with MS SQL Server.
  • Skilled in HTML, javascript, jQuery, and AJAX.
  • Familiar with XML and using it to transfer data between entities.
